35 Years of Giving and Receiving

Thirty-five years ago, Melinda famously told me, “This is not a date!” Less than four months later, on December 31st 1990, 35 years ago TODAY, we were married, and we’ve spent every day since raising a family and building a life of shared purpose. I’m marking this milestone by reflecting on the meaningful exchange of energy and value that I hope defines my life and work.

Why It Matters:

  • No Fixed Prices: My work to help people connect with their inherent wisdom and contribute positively to their communities exists within the gift economy. Everything I offer online is shared freely, with no obligation to pay.

  • Fueling a Dream: That said, I still have bills to pay. My longtime dream is that hundreds of people will support this work through small monthly “micro-donations,” helping make these offerings available to anyone who wants them.

  • Honoring Connection: I also want to highlight the good work of others, so I encourage supporters to consider giving beyond this project. The gift economy invites us into a natural flow of giving and receiving, one that, I believe, opens us to deeper connection with life’s energy.

With these thoughts in mind, I invite you to reflect on the value you’ve received from my work. Please consider a contribution to me or to one of the individuals or organizations listed below. Every gift, of any size, tells a story about what our connection means to you and helps sustain this work.

Ways to Reciprocate:

There is never an obligation to give, but if you feel moved to participate in this generative way of living, I would be honored.

Thank you for being part of this 35-year journey.
