I just released a new album of songs I’ve been working on using Suno, the A.I. song generator. All the song lyrics are mine, written over the span of the last 40 years. Most of this batch got written while I was a college student at The Evergreen State College from 1985-1988.

Turning decades of your own lyrics into a new album is a lovely example of AI serving an existing creative life rather than replacing it. The continuity of voice across forty years is the interesting part; tools like Suno or Nafy are most compelling when they help that personal archive become audible.
