So here you go, your first picture of the interior of our house in Nantes. I’m not sure if a photo can really display the beauty and dignity of this glorious house but I thought I’d give it my best shot with this picture, especially considering I just made use of this particular piece of French finery. Some of you may jump to conclusions and assume it’s a bidet but you’d be wrong. Truth be told, I haven’t even seen a bidet since we arrived in France. This particular fixture is specific to the needs of men. I believe our landlord described it to us yesterday as a Christmas gift to her husband but I’m not so sure that it’s not females who derive the most benefit from it, if you get my drift.

I figure to add more photos of the house as the mood strikes me, much as it did today.
